# Update a project

### Updating an existing project is a simple process:

To update an existing project go to the **settings tab** of the project page. The respective route looks like `/projects/detail/<id>/settings` where `<id>` defines the project.

The same rules apply when creating a new project. They can be found [here](/documentation/project/create-a-new-project.md). The buttons to reset the form or save the changes are not active until something is changed.
